On November 15, 2023, as part of Science Week, the Department of International Law of the Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business held a student subject Olympiad in the educational programs “6B04201-Jurisprudence” and “6B04202 – International Law”.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to identify the special professional abilities of future specialists, stimulate students to educational-cognitive and educational-research activities, reveal professional and personal potential, self-knowledge, creative abilities of students, promote the formation and development of personality.
The jury of the Olympiad is formed from the teaching staff of the department and employers.
3rd and 4th year students of the EP “Jurisprudence” and “International Law” presented their knowledge at the Olympiad. In particular, the groups “Themis”, “Zheti Zhargy”, “Adilet”, “Experts of Law”, as well as the groups “Emissar”, “Kyran”, “Procuratoris” took part.
During the Olympiad, students completed tasks and tested their knowledge. The jury assessed the knowledge of students individually and among groups, as a result: among the groups in the EP “Jurisprudence”, 1st place was taken by “Experts of Law”, 2nd place by “Zheti Zhargy”, 3rd place by “Adilet”, “Themis”. In the individual championship, 1st place was taken by Kuttybek Dinara, a 4th year student, 2nd place by Anfisa Sipakova and Ruslanekkali Ruslan, 4th year students, 3rd place by Alzhanov Sultanbek, a 3rd year student.
Among the groups in the EP “International Law”, 1st place was taken by the “Emissar” group, 2nd place by “Procuratoris”, 3rd place by “Kyran”. In the individual championship, 1st place was taken by Sabina Makhametzhanova, a 3rd year student, 2nd place by Kozybek Makpal, a 4th year student, 3rd place by Nurmakhan Asanali, a 4th year student.
Also, the following students were awarded in separate nominations: “Bolashak civilist” - Arystanbekov Amirkhan, Tolegenekkali Ruslan, Diekbaev Dias, in the nomination “Zanger theorist” - Eralieva Diana, Amirgali Aisulu, in the nomination “Bolashak Tergeushi” - Samatova Saltanat, Nurmuratovich Madiyar, in the nomination “Kylmystyk kukyk bilgiri” - Tolegen Asel, Hasanay Zhanali - “Khalykaralyk sarapshy” - Kopbaev Ismat, “Kuzyrly diplomat” - Anuarbekova Alema, Sanak Bagdaulet.
