From December 11 to 13, the delegation of Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL, represented by Vice-Rector for youth policy T.V. Seryozhkina and the manager of the Confucius Center took part in the Asia-European International Forum on Teacher Education 2023, organized by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the Northwestern Normal University (Lanzhou).
The Forum was attended by representatives of the CIS countries (Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina and universities of the People's Republic of China), who made presentations demonstrating the principles of teacher training.
In the work of the section «International experience in stimulating the development of teachers within the framework of UGS (university-educational institution-government)» T.V. Seryozhkina made a presentation on «Peculiarities of training international personnel at the Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL», which elicited positive feedback from the participants of the section.
This Forum allowed participants not only to demonstrate experience in training teaching and international personnel, but also to discuss the possibility of participation of Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL in joint training of personnel with the Northwestern Normal University, as well as the participation of students and teaching staff in academic mobility, implementation of joint research projects, as well as further strengthening the cooperation of Confucius Centers around the world.
