Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies took part in a meeting with representatives of the Korean company BGF in Kazakhstan represented by CU Central Asia LLP.

The BGF company with the CU convenience stores brand has been presented in the South Korean market since 2009 and has more than 17,400 retail outlets not only in South Korea, but also in Mongolia and Malaysia.

The company plans to open a convenience store network in Kazakhstan. Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies from the Korean language department not only personally became acquainted with the specifics of Korean business, but also had the opportunity to ask questions, as well as consider this company as a future place of work. Senior lecturer of the Department of Oriental Studies Dzhanabekova Fariza Kuralbaevna acted as the moderator of the meeting on behalf of our university. This event allowed us to expand the boundaries of interaction between our university and Korean partners and had a beneficial effect on the development of young specialists.
