On December 21, 2023, in connection with the past Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the leadership of Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Eserkepova Z. O. 1st year students of EP «6B02202-Turkology» of the Faculty of Oriental Studies attended the play «Enlik-Kebek» at the Kazakh National Drama Theater named after. M. Auezov.
The purpose of going to the theater was to develop students' critical thinking through research and analysis. In addition, instilling in students human qualities, cooperation, respect and kindness. After all, theater is tradition, innovation and an amazing world of art that evokes vivid emotions in people and calls them to virtue. After watching M. Auezov’s tragedy «Enlik-Kebek», our students were able to feel the social environment in which Enlik and Kebek lived at that time, especially the characters of such biys as Espenbet and Kengirbai. After the performance, the students enthusiastically shared their impressions, analyzing the course and tension of events and apotheosis. Thus, by visiting the theater, students became acquainted with the customs and traditions of our people and received food for spiritual development.
