On December 17 to 30, 2023 as the part of the project "One Belt, One Road", under the program of Chinese language lecturer professional development, lecturers of KazUIR&WL named after Abylai khan, Department of Oriental Studies - Bugytayeva Samal and Dauletova Gauhar completed an internship in Beijing Language and Culture University. The purpose of the program was to train lecturers in techniques and methods of teaching Chinese. In addition to lectures and active teamwork in classrooms, there were master classes on tea ceremony, analysis of the historical novel "Dream in the Red Terem," a master class on kites, as well as excursions near the city of Beijing: a trip to the Chinese Wall, an excursion to the largest square in the world - Tiananmen, and the Forbidden City. At the end of the program, our lecturers passed their final papers and received certificates of successful completion of the program.
