On January 29, 2024, by the department of “International Business” of the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, within the framework of the 7th semester discipline “Audit” of associate professor A. Abinova and senior teacher A. Maulenova, for students of the Kazakh and Russian departments of the 4th year of the EP "International business” held a teleconference with the largest international auditing and consulting company “Deloitte” LLP. Representative of Deloitte LLP, expert-auditor with 15 years of experience, Anel Tulegenova, spoke on the topic of features and types of internal audit. Students learned information about assessing system compliance, identifying organizational risks and improving business processes of companies after audit assessments.
The topic of the teleconference aroused the interest of the audience, the speaker involved students in an open discussion of both issues of internal auditing and further employment opportunities in the four audit companies. In addition, the material presented during the lecture is of a practical nature and reflects the realities of auditing in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which in turn is of great interest and demand in the educational process.
At the end of the lecture, on behalf of the Chairman of the Board and Rector of the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Ms. Kunanbayeva Salima Sagievna, the head of the Department of International Business, Mynzhanova Gulzhakan Tlesovna, presented a letter of gratitude to Ms. Tulegenova and determined intentions in the future partnership.
