On 02.06.2024, at Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL, together with the Almaty city branch of the People's Party of Kazakhstan, held a social event «The role of civic-patriotic education in the formation of a morally healthy personality», dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. The purpose of this event was to support the concept of the President of the country K.K. Tokayev, pointing to the growing role of the army, which carries out large tasks in peacetime.
The event was attended by Afghan soldiers, cadets of the air assault troops of the ground forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Academy of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as students of the Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL, studying at the military department of the university.
The moderator of the meeting was the first deputy chairman of the Almaty city branch of the People's Party of Kazakhstan, B. Kusainov, who delivered greetings and noted the role of Afghan veterans in modern Kazakhstan. Chairman Murat Abudshukurov spoke on behalf of the Coordination Council of Veterans and Disabled Persons of the War in Afghanistan, about the courage that Kazakhstanis showed during the war in Afghanistan. Commander of the air assault forces of the ground forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General A. Dzhumakeev briefly noted about the history of the Afghan war and the activities of the air assault troops of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The official event continued with a concert progran of student organizations of Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL.
