Department of simultaneous interpretation of the Faculty of Translation and Philology at Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL successfully held the Interpreter Competition on February 13, 2024. The event was filled with creativity, linguistic prowess and excellent demonstrations of student translation skills.
Each participant distinguished himself with speed, reaction and outstanding multitasking, which are key skills for simultaneous interpreters. The participants demonstrated not only high linguistic competence, but also the ability to quickly adapt to a variety of contexts.
The jury highly appreciated the creativity and professionalism of the students, rewarding the winners with well-deserved prizes.
