On February 14, a meeting was held between students of the "Journalism" and "PR" educational programs with the Police Colonel, official representative of the Almaty Police Department Saltanat Azirbek.
In the modern realities of the struggle between true and fake information, the topic of the meeting, “Legal basis for interaction between journalists and press services of internal affairs bodies,” is very relevant.
The participants analyzed the specifics of interaction between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the media in the process of effectively informing youth groups, the importance of media participation in the work of law enforcement agencies and coverage of their activities, as well as the need to study and search for reliable information as part of informing the population.
Saltanat Azirbek shared her personal experience in interacting with the media, and also answered questions from students.
