On February 16, 2024, a training seminar on the topic "Ludomania. Suicide prevention among young people", which was attended by students of the Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business was held. Employees of the “Aq Jol” Youth Health Center and the city polyclinic №7, who initiated this training seminar, demonstrated digital indicators to students, introduced the causes of ludomania and preventive measures in the fight against suicidal tendencies among young people. They also touched upon the issues of psychological assistance in specialized centers where people seeking a way out of gambling addiction are recovering, where they are returned to responsibility within the framework of social, professional, material and family values.
The head of ideology and social development of Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL Egenbayeva G. announced that a psychologist has been working at the university for the second year, who conducts personal receptions, as well as trainings on social adaptation, suicide prevention and personal growth.
