Guest lectures by the Egyptian scientist Dr. Walid Ibrahim Hassan and professor of the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak, Ph.D. Mukhitdinov R.S.

On February 22, 2024, the section of Arabic Language of the Department of Eastern Philology of the Faculty of Oriental Studies held guest lectures by the Egyptian scientist, Dr. Walid Ibrahim Hassan on the topic “Features of the customs and culture of the Arab peoples (world language image)” and professor of the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak, Ph.D. f.n. Mukhitdinova R.S. on the topic “Linguists’ study of the Quran and Sunnah as a text.”

The guest lecture was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Kagazbaeva E.M., the head of the Department of Eastern Philology Burkitbay G.Zh., teachers of the department and students of 1-3 years in the educational program “Foreign Philology”, “Oriental Studies”. During the lecture, an interesting interview was conducted between teachers and students concerning the customs, specifics of the culture of the Arab people, and the influence of the texts of the Quran on linguistics. At the end of the meeting, a special performance was shown by students of the Arabic department of 1-3 years.

This event turned out to be significant and educational for all participants. Professors and doctors contributed important knowledge and cultural aspects of the Arab world, and students were able to broaden their horizons and deepen their understanding of the cultural characteristics of this region. The meeting became not only a source of new information, but also a platform for the exchange of ideas and views on the cultural heritage of the Arab world.
