On February 29, an event dedicated to the Chinese New Year was held within the walls of our university. The event was accompanied by traditional Chinese dances, quizzes, musical and poetic performances.
Our university was visited by the consuls of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty - Jin Xi and Huang Xiaomin. The general director of the publishing house "Oriental Literature" – Omarov Zhenis, as well as the director of the public relations department – Beristem Zhansaya. Directors of the Confucius Institute of the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan – Shi Longwei and Tolkyn Kalibekuly. The university was also represented by the vice-rector for international cooperation of the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan, Zhiltyrova Zhanar Tekesbaevna, and the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Kagazbaeva Elmira Maratovna.
The end of winter and the beginning of the long-awaited spring is associated with a wonderful event that took place within the walls of our university. We are witnesses of friendship and cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, wishing to strengthen relations between the two countries, and wish these relations to reach a higher level in the future.
