April 13, 14, 2024 at Satbaev University, students of Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL participated in the sports student chess league of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the purpose of which was to improve sportsmanship, exchange experience and develop friendly relations among student youth - participants of the SSL, as well as advertise our University.
18 higher educational institutions participated in the SSL chess competitions. The team of Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL scored 11 points and took sixth place in the tournament. The results are available at chess-Results.com.

In honor of the 125th anniversary of K.I. Satpayev, Satbaev University provided diplomas, medals and certificates as prizes - in team and individual competitions.
In the individual competition, the best result among all LLS chess participants (in the men's category) was shown by student of the Faculty of international relations, law and business Amrenov A. (result of 8.5 points out of 9) and received a certificate for 40,000 tenge.
It should be noted the girls: repeated winners and prize-winners of city chess tournaments, students of the Faculty of translation and philology Rakhat Sh. and Esirkep A. This time Shynar did not have half a point to win (three participants had 8 points out of 9 possible).
Students of the Pedagogical faculty of foreign languages Ermekov S. and Ozhiganov K. showed good results.
Zhasulan M. performed for the first time and with dignity.
Now there are 2 teams of Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL under the leadership of teacher Tretyakova N.M. are preparing to perform in the “Spring Chess Tournament” at KIMEP, which will be held from April 18-20, 2024.
