From July 1 to 5, 2024, Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL, represented by Vice-rector for Higher Education, Candidate of philosophical sciences, Associated Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan T.V. Seryozhkina attended at the Summer School at the Universita Di Napoli L'Orientale, organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
The summer school worked offline on the stated topic "Power, Economy and Society in Central Asia: Past and Present" in the following sections: "Material culture, Archaeology and Ancient History", "History of Islamic, Medieval and Early Modern Central Asia", "Colonial, Soviet and Post-Soviet Central Asia" and "Soil degradation and shifting agrarian orders in Central Asia". The summer school was attended by representatives of scientists from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the USA, Belgium, Italy and Norway, which allowed participants to share their experiences, explore new areas of work and discuss topical issues stated in the sections. Erasmus+ is an excellent opportunity for students and teachers to expand and deepen their knowledge through participation in academic mobility programs at partner universities.
