On November 11-12, 2024, third- and fourth-year students of the Journalism program at KazIR&WL participated in the V International Media Forum of Turkic-speaking Journalists "TURKTIME: Unity of Media and Tourism in Turkic Countries." The event gathered leading media representatives, tourism experts, and government officials from Kazakhstan, Europe, Turkey, and Central Asia.
The forum discussed important issues such as the impact of artificial intelligence on the media space, new trends in traditional and social journalism, as well as the prospects for tourism development in Turkic-speaking countries. The students had the opportunity to participate in discussions about the future of media, explore modern approaches to content creation, and assess how technologies are changing the media landscape.
Workshops and training sessions on various topics, including travel journalism, combating fake news, and using artificial intelligence in journalism, were organized for forum participants. Participating in the forum gave students a unique opportunity to expand their professional knowledge and establish valuable connections within the international media community.
