On April 22, 2016 under the auspices of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence and the 1000th anniversary of the city Almaty, in Kazakh Ablai khan University of International Relations and World Languages was held traditional celebration of Nauryz.
For the past three years, this festival takes place in KazUIR & WL named after Ablai Khan with the active participation of the teaching staff of the University, students, as well as with representatives of foreign countries visiting the University for academic mobility.
