On November 28, 2024, a seminar on "Modern political and economic trends and investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan" was held at the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages.
The event was organized by the Department of International Relations of the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages and the Republican House of Friendship of Almaty on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the event, a report was made by a member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, PhD in Economics, head of the Almaty Seminar Club at the Republican House of Friendship of Almaty Gulnara Annakulieva; Associate Professor of KBTU JSC, KIMEP University, Independent Director of Baiterek Venture Fund JSC Dana Blieva; Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of MAI, Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations Akimzhan Arupov, PhD in Social Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations Aitimbet Lyazzat. Representatives of the Republican Friendship House of Almaty, representatives of ethnocultural associations and structures of the APK, teachers and students of the Department of International Relations of the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Ablai Khan also took part in the seminar.
Askhat Gulnash, PhD, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of International Relations of the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Ablai Khan, made a welcoming speech. The moderator of the seminar was Ruslan Zhakupov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of International Relations.
As part of the seminar, speakers and participants discussed the main trends in the field of world politics and economics, exchanged opinions, experience in the field of investment policy in general, as well as factors of investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan.
In addition, special mention should be made of 3rd year students of the International Relations Educational Program, Ilyas Imamzarov and Oleg Plazun, who particularly distinguished themselves by taking an active part in the seminar.
