Moscow State Linguistic University and the Kazakh Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages ​​ with the support of the Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund of the CIS member states held the VIII International Scientific School of Young Translators of Fiction in the CIS countries from April 17 to 21, 2017 in Almaty.

Within the framework of celebration of the 75th anniversary of the University on April 19, 2017, the Opening Ceremony of the Confucius Center was held on the basis of Kazakh Ablai khan University of international Relations and world Languages, in cooperation with the Southwestern University of the People's Republic of China. The rector of Kazakh Ablai khan University of international Relations and world Languages and MIA SS took part.

On April 28, at 9.00 the Associate Professor and PhD of St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tyrnovo from Bulgaria Teodora Kaleynska has delivered her guest lecture on «European Union and Bulgaria: problem issues and special aspects of integration». 

A delegation from the Dalian University of Foreign Languages visited our University on April 28, 2017. The delegation has consisted of Prof. Sun Yuhua – Chairman of the Council of Rectors of the SCO University, China and Prof. Zhen Xuemei – Head of the Administration of the SCO University, China.

The Dalian University of Foreign Languages is one of eight largest universities of foreign languages in China, and it is the only university specialized on learning foreign languages the North-East of China.

From March 13 to 15, the 3rd International Conference on Korean Studies was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, organized by the Center for Eurasian Studies in Korean Studies at Erciyes University (Turkey).

This international conference was attended by both well-known Korean scientists and young researchers from seven countries: Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Korea, Uzbekistan and Russia. Kazakhstan was represented by participants from KazUIR and WL named Abylai Khan, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Nazarbayev University.

On March 15, 2023, a meeting of 2nd-year students of the Teacher Training Faculty of the Kazakh Ablai Khan University was held in the blue assembly hall. The meeting was organized by the students of the 210th group and Madina Samatkyzy, responsible for the educational work of the 2nd year .
