Graduated from the Almaty Institute of National Economy (AINE) in 1987.
From 1987 to 1989, worked as an economist at the State Supply Committee of the Kazakh SSR under the university state placement program.
From 1989 to 1997, worked at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Department for Land Resources Assessment.
From 2008 to 2015, headed the Department of «Marketing and Logistics» at Turan University (Almaty). From 2008 to 2015 also served as Vice President of the Kazakhstan Marketing Association.
Has been working at the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages since September 2015.
Author of 87 scientific publications, including textbooks, teaching manuals, monographs, articles in journals of the CSSES list, and articles in Web of Science indexed journals. Hirsch index is 2.
Holds the title «Best University Lecturer – 2012.»
