On September 19, 2018, within the framework of the creative festival "Unity of People - Great Wealth", 3-course students of the FIR headed by the Deputy Dean on EW Akpaeva E.R., curator of Ilimkozha A.E., 4-course student Baktygaliyeva Kh. visited the contest among representatives of different nationalities "Til – tatulyq tiregi", organized by the National Ethnographic Association "Adyrna", with the support of the Almaty Internal Policy Department.
Within the framework of the festival there were organized ethno-exhibitions, the performance of creative collectives of ethnocultural associations. Representatives of Russian, Uighur, Turkish, Kurdish, Afghan, Uzbek, Tajik and other nationalities took part in the contest "Til - Tatulyq Tiregi", in which the competitions were held in 3 stages. At the first stage, the participants recited the verses of Magzhan Zhumabayev, in the second stage they read the essay on the topic "Tugan zher", in the last tour, national dances, songs, and stage performances were performed.
Within the framework of the festival, the participants recited the poems of Magzhan Zhumabayev by heart, read the essays on the topic "Tugan zher", and Kazakh songs, dances and stage performances were performed.
The organizational committee included: director of the Institute of Linguistics named after A. Baitrursynov Erden Kazhybek, editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Ulan" Zhadyr Narmakhanova, head of the "Kamshy" news agency Bilal Kuanysh, chief specialist of the language development, archives and documentation department of Almaty Nurmukh Shaimerdenov.
The event was also attended by members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, media representatives and students.
