On November 22 at the Faculty of Oriental Studies was orgazized the meeting of teachers, master’s students and students of the faculty with the PhD candidate from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom) a young Orientalist Bataar Khasanov.
First of all, in the framework of the meeting issues related to the sphere of Oriental studies were concidered and students and undergraduates received answers to their questions. Young scholar also shared his plans and results in his scientific research area.Mr. Khasanov received a memorable gift on behalf of the faculty and continued with his next lecture on the topic “Modern Islamization in Central Asia: a return to the faith of the ancestors or initiation to the new religion” and at the end of the lecture answered questions from the audience. Undergraduates and students exchanged their views on the topic.
