On April 8, 2021, the faculty and department of postgraduate education of KazUIR & WL named after Abylai Khan held a republican methodological seminar "Actual problems of modern methodology of foreign language education" within the Applied Research Laboratory “Modernization of foreign language education based on cognitive-linguocultural methodology”. It was attended by leading scientists of the university, as well as master and doctoral students of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, in particular, representatives from Baishev University (Aktobe), Peoples' Friendship University named after academician A. Kuatbekov (Shymkent).
The moderator of this event was the head of the educational program "7M01719-Training of foreign language teachers (scientific and pedagogical direction)", PhD Kasymbekova M.A. Dean of PGF, Candidate of Political Sciences., professor Baysultanova K.Sh. The speakers of the seminar were Doctor of Philology, Professor Makhpirov V.U. He made a presentation “Problems of methodology and paradigm in linguistics”. Interesting and relevant reports were presented by young researchers - undergraduates of our university and Kazakhstani partner universities.
