On September 30, 2021, the Department of International Law held a guest lecture with 4th year students of the specialty jurisprudence with the participation of the judge of the Bostandyk District Court of Almaty Selitskiy Roman Valierevich, who gave a lecture on the topic: "The practice of considering criminal cases by courts on the facts of committing fraudulent actions."
The lecture covered the issues of qualification of such criminally punishable acts, the peculiarities of their consideration by the courts, and paid attention to the existing mistakes of a procedural and organizational nature in the investigation of criminal cases of this category. In addition, the elements of the structure of the forensic characteristics of fraud, the main methods of its commission and concealment were considered. During the lecture, practical examples were given, analysis of situations emerging at various stages of the pre-trial investigation and during the trial.
