Participation of the Faculty of Oriental Studies in the International Conference “Central Asia in the Focus of Regional Studies”

On June 13–14, 2025, the international conference titled “Central Asia in the Focus of Regional Studies” was held at the Northwestern Polytechnical University (PRC). The goal of the event was to create a platform for academic exchange, promote deeper dialogue between experts and scholars from China and the Central Asian countries, and unite intellectual efforts to discuss ways of effective cooperation within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.

At the plenary session, the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Professor E.M. Kagazbayeva, delivered a report titled “Artificial Intelligence in China’s Educational Diplomacy in Central Asia: Tools of Soft Power and Regional Influence.”

During the panel session, the Head of the Department of Translation of Eastern Languages, Professor R.B. Dzheldybaeva, presented a report on “Exploring New Technologies in Teaching Modern Chinese Language.”
