On July 1, 2025, a delegation from one of China’s leading publishing corporations – Phoenix Publishing & Media Group, based in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province – paid an official visit to the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
On June 27, 2025, a solemn ceremony of taking the military oath by graduates of the military department was held at the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. On this significant day, students studying in the specialties of «military translator» and «military journalist» took an oath of allegiance to the Motherland. Taking the military oath is a sacred act symbolizing devotion, responsibility and readiness to serve the Motherland.
The Faculty of Oriental Studies proudly highlights the achievements of its graduates who have attained significant success in the fields of diplomacy and international relations.
On June 13–14, 2025, the international conference titled “Central Asia in the Focus of Regional Studies” was held at the Northwestern Polytechnical University (PRC). The goal of the event was to create a platform for academic exchange, promote deeper dialogue between experts and scholars from China and the Central Asian countries, and unite intellectual efforts to discuss ways of effective cooperation within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
From May 28 to June 13, 2025, students from Iowa State University, USA, took part in a cultural exchange internship at the Faculty of Translation and Philology of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
In May-June 2025, first-year students (accelerated form of study) of Management and Marketing Department have successfully completed their internship at the Department of State revenues of Almaty.
During the internship, the students got acquainted with the activities of government agencies, gained an understanding of the structure and functions of the State Revenue Department, and expanded their theoretical knowledge by applying it in practice. During the internship, the students took part in the implementation of the current tasks of the department, got acquainted with the document flow, participated in analytical and organizational work.
From May 26 to June 6, 2025, the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages (Almaty) successfully hosted a professional development course titled "Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Working with Texts" (72 hours). Organized by the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, the course became part of a university-wide initiative aimed at integrating digital and intelligent technologies into the field of humanities education.

Every year on this day, we honor the symbols that reflect the independence, unity, and rich history of our country. It was on June 4, 1992, that the State Flag, State Emblem, and National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan were officially adopted — the three main symbols of our statehood.
