On August 10, the faculty of the Kazakh University named after Ablai Khan, headed by Acting Rector D.A. Kunanbayeva, took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to Abai Kunanbayev. A large-scale flower-laying ceremony took place in front of the Palace of the Republic, where the largest monument to Abai in Almaty is located.
On August 7, the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages hosted a meeting with the delegation of Ankara Social Sciences University (Turkey).
On July 2, 2025, at the department of international relations of Kazakh Ablai Khan University the International scientific and practical conference was organized and held by the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy at the Catholic University of America and Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, on the topic: “Central Asia in the Context of Global Communication: Values Beyond Borders”. The conference was held both in-person and online formats.
On July 1, 2025, a delegation from one of China’s leading publishing corporations – Phoenix Publishing & Media Group, based in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province – paid an official visit to the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
On June 27–28, 2025, the 13th Central Asian Academic Conference on Korean Studies was held in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic) under the theme “Korean Studies on the New Silk Road in the Era of Information Technology.” The conference brought together over 150 scholars, researchers, and specialists in Korean studies from seven countries, including Central Asian states, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, and South Korea.
