Almaty, November 4, 2025: QS Quacquarelli Symonds, a global analytical agency in the field of higher education, published a new issue of QS World University Rankings: 2026.

Representing a cumulative assessment of higher education institutions in the field of international recognition, research development, quality of the educational environment, internationalization and academic mobility, this year's international ranking became the largest in terms of the number of universities reviewed and ranked in it – 8,467 universities from 106 countries and territories.

From October 6, 2025, to February 16, 2026, students of the Pedagogical Faculty of Foreign Languages are studying under the academic mobility program at National University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), one of the leading universities in Malaysia.

From October 29 to 30, the Alatau Creative Center is hosting a seminar dedicated to the popularization of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) included in the UNESCO Representative List. It is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakhstan Public Institute for Social Development. The teaching staff of the Department of History of Kazakhstan B. Zhuztayeva, Zh. Makasheva, M. Nasyrova, A. Doszhanova, headed by the head of the department V. Iztayeva took part in this event.

The lecture course by Professor Andrew Zimbroff from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (USA), held from October 21 to 31, 2025, has been successfully completed at the Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages within the framework of the “International Business,” “Management and marketing” educational programs.

At the Faculty of Translation and Philology, the Department of Speech Practice of Foreign Philology held a festive event dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the international cooperation with the partner institution - the University of Central Lancashire (United Kingdom) - a webinar was held on October 29, 2025, organized by the Vladimir Vysotsky Centre for Slavic Studies at the University of Central Lancashire.
