On February 10, Ablaikhan University held a master class on "Organizing PR Projects and Integrated Marketing Campaigns" for students and faculty of the Journalism and Public Relations programs.

A ceremonial award ceremony for scholarships from Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC was held at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. For more than 10 years, the bank has been a reliable employer partner of our university and annually provides incentive scholarships to the best students of the Korean Studies.

On December 27, 2025, the 2nd Korean Language Public Speaking Contest was held, organized by the KT&G Scholarship Foundation Korean Center.

Doctoral student of the educational program 8D01721 – Training of Foreign Language Teachers, Koldas Marzhan, has been undertaking an international research internship at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang, Malaysia, from January 21 to February 19, 2026. Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is a leading public research university, ranked among the top three universities in Malaysia and the top 150 universities worldwide (123rd place in QS World University Rankings 2024, 22nd place in Asia 2026).

On February 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM, a meeting was held with 2nd–3rd year students of the Journalism educational program at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages.

On January 28, a Music Quiz QUIZ was successfully held at the University Leisure Center as a friendly intellectual and creative competition among students from three dormitories. The event was organized by the University Committee for Youth Affairs and the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The main purpose of the quiz was to strengthen team spirit, expand students’ musical knowledge, and promote an active and engaging extracurricular environment.

On January 29, 2026, an international round table entitled “Shaping a New Energy Map of Eurasia: Interests, Risks, and Prospects” was held at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. The event was organized by the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business within the framework of the intra-university innovative project “A New Energy Map of Europe: Geopolitical Strategies of Energy Security.”

On January 28, 2026, Kazakh Abai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages hosted a meeting between students and Anar Burasheva—the first woman from Kazakhstan and Central Asia to officially complete the Seven Summits program, inscribing the name of a Kazakhstani woman in the global history of mountaineering.

On January 28, 2026, the Faculty of Translation and Philology at the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages  held an interdisciplinary roundtable discussion entitled "The Linguistic Worldview in the Digital Age" as part of an university project. The event brought together linguists, philosophers, and specialists in Kazakh and foreign languages ​​to discuss how digital technologies are transforming our perception and conceptualization of reality.
