On July 2, 2025, at the department of international relations of Kazakh Ablai Khan University the International scientific and practical conference was organized and held by the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy at the Catholic University of America and Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, on the topic: “Central Asia in the Context of Global Communication: Values Beyond Borders”. The conference was held both in-person and online formats.
The conference brought together Mr. Aidos Satym, who is currently Member of Mazhilis – Chamber of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also leading scholars, researchers, and experts from Kazakhstan, the United States, China, Italy, India, and other countries across Asia, Europe, and the America, including researchers from the Institute and teaching staff of the Department of International relations of Kazakh Ablai Khan University. Their participation will ensure a wide range of perspectives and academic traditions in addressing the key topics of the conference.
This conference was held within the framework of the program-targeted funding project titled “Information and Ideological Influences on Mass Consciousness in Kazakhstan: Risks and Opportunities”. It is dedicated to the philosophical and political analysis of the transformational processes taking place in Central Asia against the backdrop of global changes.
The aim of the conference is to create an interdisciplinary academic platform for discussing the challenges and opportunities faced by Central Asian societies in the context of global communication, as well as to identify universal and regional value orientations that promote constructive international cooperation.
