On September 30 — October 1, 2025, Almaty the International Digital Education Conference 2025was organized by partner universities INTI International University (Malaysia) and Narxoz University (Kazakhstan) on the Narxoz campus.
The conference was attended by scientists from many countries: Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Finland, Slovenia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) and others. Among the participants were representatives of the KAUIR&WL Associate Professor of the Department of Linguistics and Information and Communication Technologies Karpenko T.E. and Master Trofimova A.V.

The program of the first day included four pre-conference workshops. Karpenko T.E. and Trofimova A.V. took part in two of them. The trainers not only presented useful theoretical materials, but also actively involved the participants in discussions and practical tasks. The participants gained new knowledge on how to more effectively organize the writing of scientific articles using the capabilities of AI (ChatGPT).
It was particularly impressive the usage of virtual reality technology using Meta Quest 3 VR glasses, which allowed to immerse participants in the ocean, see it in panoramic mode (360°), "touch" the corals and at the same time feel the danger of the opening abyss. The possibility of learning foreign languages using a special program (ImmerseMe) and virtual situations was also demonstrated. This experience has shown how immersive learning in a VR environment can be a powerful tool for educational purposes.

On the second day of the conference, plenary sessions were held with the participation of speakers from different countries. Then the work continued in sections. Karpenko T.E. and Trofimova A.V. participated in Track 5: Data Analytics & Learning Assessment, where they presented their own research:
- V. Trofimova made a presentation on “Methodological Discrepancies and Ethical Implications in News API Platforms: A Cross-Platform Analysis of Word Frequency Using ANOVA and Correlation Metrics” and was awarded a silver award following the results of the section.
- E. Karpenko presented the report “Intelligent Analysis of Autobiographical Texts: A Comparative Study of Charles Darwin and Helen Keller", receiving a bronze award.
Thus, the participation of representatives from the KAUIR&WL was highly praised by the conference experts.

The conference was held in a businesslike atmosphere conducive to the exchange of experience and the development of new ideas in the field of digital education. Participation in such international forums allows teachers to keep abreast of the latest trends in the field of digitalization of education, expand professional horizons and build international partnerships.
