On 5 September 2020, the 22nd Kazakhstan Oratory Competition in Japanese was held online.

On 5 September 2020, the 22nd Kazakhstan Oratory Competition in Japanese was held online. Honorary guests of the event were Ambassador extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasai Tatsuhiko, Chairman of the Association of Japanese businessmen in Kazakhstan Kazama Tatsuya. The moderator of the competition was the teacher of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages Andassova Maral Murzakalievna, the member of the jury was the teacher of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages Yugai Maria Robertovna.

The competition was attended by students of such universities as: Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Al Farabi Kazakh National University,L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University, as well as students of Ichikawa schools and the Kazakh-Japanese center in Almaty and Nur-Sultan.

According to the results of the competition, our students took the following prize places: 2nd place - 3rd year student of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Tlemurat Azamat, 6th place - 4th year student of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Kharakozha Sattigul’, and a special prize from the Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Batyrkhan Kurmanseit was awarded to 4th year student Anita Azmagulova.

We would like to thank our Japanese language teachers for organizing the event, as well as preparing students for this competition.
