The student of Kazakh Ablai Khan University Mukhtar Dinislam took first place at the National “Shoqan AI” Competition

On November 5, 2026, the National Digital Video Content Competition “Shoqan AI: A New Perspective on the Scholar’s Legacy” was held as part of the II International Shoqan Forum, entitled “The Phenomenon of Shokan Ualikhanov: The Intellectual Heritage of the Great Steppe in the Global Context,” organized by Almaty Management University (AlmaU). The competition brought together students from higher education institutions across Kazakhstan.

Mukhtar Dinislam, a second-year student from Group 202 of the Tourism educational program at the Faculty of Management and International Communications of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, was awarded first place in the national competition.

The main objective of the competition was to encourage students to explore, preserve, and promote the scientific and cultural heritage of Shokan Ualikhanov, an outstanding Kazakh scholar, educator, and traveler, through the innovative application of modern artificial intelligence technologies.

During the competition, participants demonstrated their creativity and practical skills in using AI-powered tools to generate videos, images, voice recordings, and musical content. Particular emphasis was placed on presenting Shokan Ualikhanov’s ethnographic, geographical, and literary works in modern cinematic digital formats while preserving historical accuracy and national cultural values, as well as ensuring the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence technologies.

Mukhtar Dinislam’s achievement at the national level highlights the creative potential of university students, the development of their digital competencies, and their commitment to mastering innovative technologies.
