On April 8, 2026, the annual international scientific conference of students and young researchers, “Farabi Alemi”, was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Students of the Oriental Studies educational program (1st–4th year) from our faculty actively participated in the conference under the supervision of Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Zh.O. Yeserkepova. The students’ research works were highly appreciated, and according to the results of the conference, they were awarded prize-winning places.
Conference results:
- 2nd–3rd year students Fatima Kuanysh Shakizatkyzy, Arnur Raiymbek Maraltaykyzy, and Aruzhan Turganbek Kuanyshbekkyzy – 2nd place
- Madina Turganbay – 3rd place
- 1st year student Zhansaya Urakbayeva – awarded a certificate of merit
