On September 15, Ablaikhan University hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Japan International Development Association (JIDA).
Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages and JIDA have been successfully cooperating for four years within the framework of an internship program that provides Japanese Studies students with opportunities to gain practical experience at Japanese companies. The delegation included representatives of the Association’s leadership as well as members of Japan’s business community.
The meeting with students was particularly engaging. Fourth-year students shared their impressions of their summer internships, spoke about their work experience at Japanese companies, and reflected on the professional skills and knowledge they had gained.
The meeting took place in a warm and open atmosphere. Students had the opportunity to communicate with the Japanese guests, ask questions, and discuss opportunities for further cooperation.
In turn, the students introduced the guests to Kazakh culture, traditions, and national heritage, demonstrating that international dialogue is not only about professional cooperation but also about building a deeper understanding between different cultures.
Such meetings enable students to broaden their professional horizons, gain international experience, and establish new connections that can open doors to future opportunities.
