From 21 to 29 September 2026, third-year students enrolled in the «Tourism» educational program participated in the «Guide School», jointly organized by the «Skill All» social and educational project and the Almaty Volunteer Front Office.

The course provided students with an opportunity to broaden their professional competencies, gain practical knowledge, and develop skills that are in demand in today’s tourism industry.
During the course, the students learned about the key aspects of excursion services, the professional responsibilities of a tour guide, and the role of high-quality visitor support in creating an attractive tourism image of a city. This knowledge is particularly valuable for future professionals who will promote the tourism potential of Almaty and Kazakhstan.

The «Skill All» project provides young people with access to practice-oriented learning, enabling them to explore new professional areas and apply their knowledge in real-world settings. Participation in such initiatives helps students develop communication and organizational skills, gain professional experience, and enhance their competitiveness in the labor market.
The Almaty Volunteer Front Office played an important role as a partner in the initiative. Its activities focus on supporting the volunteer movement, engaging young people in socially significant projects, and creating opportunities for their professional and personal development. Cooperation with educational institutions and the delivery of programs such as the «Guide School» help connect students’ academic knowledge with practical experience and the current needs of the tourism industry.
