On February 08, 2021, Zhannat Bubekbaeva, director of Bilim Bárine Foundation met with Kazakh Ablai Khan University faculty. During the meeting, participants discussed the possibilities of using new information resources and educational products in LSP and CLIL. Zh. Bubekbaeva underlined the unique opportunity to improve the faculty teaching skills by participating in academic seminars and training courses with an emphasis on media literacy, the recognition of bias/propaganda, stereotypes and misinformation; strategies to improve students' critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills. Zhannat Bubekbaeva noted that the course content on media literacy offered by the foundation was developed with the experts from the regional office of English language programs at the US Embassy.
