On April 16, 2025, as part of the professional orientation of students, a meeting was held with the famous journalist, podcaster and author - Ainel Amirkhan. The participants of the event were 3rd year students of the educational programs "Journalism" and "Public Relations".
The purpose of the meeting was to expand professional horizons, develop practical skills and form a sustainable interest in the media profession. In a warm and informal atmosphere, Ainel shared her professional experience with the students, talked about becoming a professional, about the difficulties and discoveries in podcasting - one of the most relevant formats of modern journalism. The students participated in the discussion with interest, asked questions, shared their thoughts and received useful advice from a professional.
Ainel Amirkhan is the author and host of the OY-DETOX podcast, which raises important topics related to personal growth, social transformation and current social processes. Ainel is also a co-author of the book “Atyn shykpasa, podcast zhasa” (“If you are not famous yet, make a podcast”), which has become a real guide for aspiring media makers.
In 2023, the OY-DETOX project was shortlisted for the National URKER Award in the “Best Podcast” nomination along with such well-known media products as Zere, Dope Soz and Momskiy_angime. This nomination was presented at the competition for the first time, which emphasizes the growing importance of podcasting in the media field of Kazakhstan.
Such meetings with media industry professionals play an important role in the educational process, form a deeper understanding of the profession in students, inspire development and self-realization in the chosen field.
