From April 28 to May 3 of this year, Ablaikhan University, represented by Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Social Development T.V. Seryozhkina and Head of the International Relations Department T.E. Abdigappar, visited Assumption University (Bangkok, Thailand), where a memorandum of cooperation was signed. The Kazakhstani delegation included representatives from Kazah Ablai Khan UIR&WL, the Eurasian Technological University, and the Public Foundation “New Silk Road.” On behalf of Chair of the Board - Rector Salima Sagievna Kunanbayeva, Vice-Rector T.V. Seryozhkina expressed gratitude to the President of Assumption University for the invitation to the Educational Forum of Central Asian countries and conveyed Ablaikhan University’s interest in further collaboration between universities in the fields of student exchange programs, social partnership, and joint scientific projects.
The initiator of the Forum was the Public Foundation “New Silk Road,” led by President Kh.Sh. Daurov, who ensured the participation of representatives from higher education institutions of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. This event enabled participants not only to sign memorandum of cooperation with Assumption University but also to build a Central Asian bridge for intercultural and educational cooperation among the universities of the mentioned republics. We express our sincere gratitude to the Public Foundation “New Silk Road” and its President Kh.Sh. Daurov for organizing and conducting the Educational Forum and for fostering collaboration between Central Asian universities and Assumption University.
