Doctoral student of the educational program 8D01721 – Training of Foreign Language Teachers, Koldas Marzhan, has been undertaking an international research internship at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang, Malaysia, from January 21 to February 19, 2026. Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is a leading public research university, ranked among the top three universities in Malaysia and the top 150 universities worldwide (123rd place in QS World University Rankings 2024, 22nd place in Asia 2026).

The international research supervisor, Professor Mohd Azidan Bin Abdul Jabar, began implementing the substantive research internship plan related to the doctoral dissertation topic from the very first days. He organized an orientation tour of the university, assisted in obtaining access to the scientific library, and provided valuable recommendations on the research work. One of the key objectives of the research internship was the preparation of a scientific article for submission to a peer-reviewed journal indexed in Scopus. The professor offered detailed guidance on the structure and content of the article, made revisions to the text, and recommended several suitable journals for submission.
Professor Mohd Azidan Bin Abdul Jabar highly assessed the quality of Koldas Marzhan’s presented doctoral dissertation project, which undoubtedly serves as an indicator of the high academic qualifications of the professors of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
We are confident that the international research internship of doctoral student Koldas Marzhan will enrich her with new ideas in line with contemporary trends in the development of the methodology of foreign language education.
