A ceremonial award ceremony for scholarships from Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC was held at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. For more than 10 years, the bank has been a reliable employer partner of our university and annually provides incentive scholarships to the best students of the Korean Studies.
Based on the selection results this year, the incentive scholarships from Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC were awarded to active fourth-year students who demonstrated a high level of academic performance (GPA):
- Kanapiya Kundyz (Educational Program “Foreign Philology”)
- Negmetova Dana (Educational Program “Translation Studies”)
- Marupova Aziza (Educational Program “Translation Studies”)
- Azatova Aruzhan (Educational Program “Oriental Studies”)
- Karim Zhansaya (Educational Program “Translation Studies”)
- Kazymukan Aida (Educational Program “Translation Studies”)
- Baimukhan Dana (Educational Program “Foreign Philology”)
The scholarships were presented by N.M. Dzhaksykeldinov, Managing Director of Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC.
It is important to note that among the graduates of the Korean Studies Department there are specialists who have successfully found employment at Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC.
Words of gratitude to Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC and personally to N.M. Dzhaksykeldinov were expressed by E.M. Kagazbayeva, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
