On February 16 of this year, a significant socio-political event took place at the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages: a Round Table themed "Kazakhstan – A Unified Country."

The meeting was organized by the Republican Friendship House of Almaty in cooperation with the Club of Young Scientists of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan (APK) and the Department of International Relations of KazUIR&WL. The round table was attended by representatives of government agencies, the Public Council of Almaty, the scientific and creative community, as well as public structures of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

Among the key participants and speakers were:
- Rafik Mirzoyev— Chairman of the Republican Fund of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan (APK);
- Akimzhan Arupov— Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations at Turan University, Professor, Academician;
- Gulnara Annakuliyeva— Chairwoman of the Turkmen Socio-Cultural Center of Almaty and Almaty Region;
- Mendyganym Shaimerdenova— Historian, Professor, Academician of the IIA, Member of the APK (Almaty);
- Eduard Mukhamedzhanov— Member of the Chamber of Professional Legal Consultants, Arbitrator at the Center for Conciliation and Arbitration, Legal Scholar, Doctor of Law, and Professor of the International Law Department at KazUIR&WL;
- Murad Shamilov— Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of International Relations of KazUIR&WL;
Professors from the city’s higher education institutions and student youth also took part in the discussion.

The primary goal of the meeting was to develop common approaches to strengthening national unity in the face of modern challenges. Participants discussed in detail the role of the country's intellectual potential in the processes of modernization and civic consolidation.
Special attention was paid to current political processes:
- Constitutional Reform:Experts noted that systemic changes to the country's Fundamental Law create the foundation for a Just and Progressive Kazakhstan.
- Nationwide Coalition:The round table participants unanimously expressed their support for the initiative "For the People's Constitution of a Just and Progressive Kazakhstan!", emphasizing the importance of solidarity across all sectors of society.
The event concluded with an open exchange of views, during which students and young scientists engaged with the experts, highlighting their readiness to actively participate in building the country's future.
