The program opened with the dance “Nauryz Koktem” performed by female students under the guidance of lecturer L.A. Zakrzhyevskaia, setting a solemn and festive mood. According to tradition, the event began with a bata blessing delivered by Professor Daulatbek Saduakasovich Rayev, who wished prosperity for the university and well-being for all present. The atmosphere was further enriched by the ancient ritual of shashu, performed to the sound of the kyui “Aday”.
The concert program was rich and diverse: performances by alumna Aruzhan Adilkhan and singer Omirkul Ainiyazov, the “Alash” medley, and the dance group “deZire” delighted the audience. The song “My Kazakhstan” performed by Mukhabbat Nizamudin united the audience in a shared sense of pride and unity. Turkmen students added a special cultural flavor with their national dance performance.
As part of the celebration, national sports competitions were held, and winners were awarded prizes. Guests also visited yurts named after Kazakh khans, where they were treated to traditional national dishes.
Nauryz brought together students and faculty in national costumes, creating an atmosphere of warmth, respect for traditions, and true unity.
