On April 23, 2026, the Chinese Literature Festival titled “One Spring – One Book” was held in Almaty. As part of this event, our students actively participated in various cultural and educational activities.

Upon invitation from the Consul General of PRC, Stanislav Timofeev, a student of our faculty, took part in the program “Reading Together.” During the event, he presented one of the masterpieces of modern Chinese literature — the novel “To Live” by Yu Hua, sharing his impressions of the work.
Stanislav noted the novel’s influence on shaping his worldview and emphasized its significance in the global literary context. His presentation attracted great interest from the participants and made a valuable contribution to the promotion of Chinese literature among young people.
Participation in such international cultural projects contributes to the development of intercultural dialogue, the expansion of academic horizons, and the strengthening of humanitarian ties between countries.
