Pre-graduation internship at the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Student of the 4th year of the educational program 6B03101 – “International Relations,” Saparghaliyeva Zarina completed her pre-graduation internship at the Department of Strategic Development of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where she demonstrated a high level of responsibility, initiative, and professional engagement.

Zarina participated in organizing international online negotiations and working meetings involving representatives of governmental bodies and international partners. During the internship, she performed the duties of an interpreter for the Vice Minister, providing consecutive interpretation and ensuring accurate communication during negotiations. She also participated in preparing analytical summaries and final materials based on the outcomes of the meetings. In particular, she carried out written translations of documents into Kazakh, Russian, and English. During the internship period, the student was engaged in organizational and analytical work, including preparing workspaces for official events, systematizing documentation, and analyzing materials related to water resource development and international cooperation.

Zarina expresses her special gratitude to her internship supervisors — Head of the Department for Relations with International Organizations, Balzhan Tlebaldinovna Serikbayeva, and Head of the Department for Regulation of Water Resources Use, Atel Saken Shekerbekuly, for their professional support, valuable guidance, and assistance throughout the internship period. Balzhan Tlebaldinovna graduated in 2005 from Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages with a degree in Regional Studies. She also worked as a lecturer at the Department of International Tourism Management and at the Department of Theory and Practice of English Translation of Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. Her professional experience and mentorship became an important source of support during the internship.
