On March 15, 2025, the 28th Kazakhstan Oratory Contest in Japanese was held at the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. All 17 participants demonstrated a high level of Japanese language proficiency!

Four students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies of our university participated: Myrzakhan Batyrkhan, Ruslan Aruzhan, Bagyshova Madina and Ilyasheva Sara.
The main prize is a free trip to Japan, from the sponsors of the competition, the Association of Japanese Businessmen in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2nd place - Sadykova Asel "The Power of Constant Effort" (Special Prize of the Kazakhstan Japan Silk Road Association)
3rd place - Tolganbayeva Mariyam "Going Beyond Prejudices" (Special Prize from Batyrkhan Kurmanseit)
4th place - Beisebay Aryana "Why Did My Parents Overprotect Me?"
5th place – Bagyshova Madina “Echo of childhood in the labyrinth of adulthood”
6th place – Rysbakhova Riza “Dad, I won’t wait any longer”
