On October 24, 2023, Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages held a republican scientific-practical conference on the topic “Global challenges: geopolitical, economic and legal aspects". The conference was timed to the Republic Day of Kazakhstan as well as the UN Day.
The plenary session was opened with a welcoming speech by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Ph.D. Zhyltyrova Zhanar Teksebaykyzy and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Uspanova Mayra Ualievna. The moderator of the event was Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Raev Daulet Sadvakasovich.
The following honorary guests attended the conference:
— Vlastimil Samek, representative of the UN Department of Global Communications. In his report, Vlastimil Samek expressed gratitude to the University of KazIR&WL for cooperation and congratulated on the 30th anniversary of the opening of the UN office in Almaty.
— Bunas Mikhail Grigorievich, director of LLP "Soft Club", had a presentation on the topic “Modern and world practice of entrepreneurship development and opportunities for its development in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
— Aitkhozhin Kabdulsamikh Koshekovich, Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Constitutional International Law and Customs Affairs at Kunaev University,presented a report on the topic “Prospects for possible constitutional reform in Kazakhstan.”

— Iskaliev Mendesh Dosmukhanovich, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the International Business Department. The topic of the report: “Zhana ekonomikalyk sayasat zhane bilim ekonomikasy.”
— Kadyrzhanov Rustem Kazakhbaevich, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the International Relations Department. The topic of the report: "The UN and the foreign policy objectives of Kazakhstan".
— Mukhamedzhanov Eduard Bulatovich, Doctor of Law, Professor of the International Law Department. The topic of the report: “On the history of the of the issue of the Supreme Council activities of the KazSSR and its second session.”
— Shaimordanova Zarema Zhuandykovna, Doctor of History, Professor of the International Relations Department. The topic of the report: “World order in the evaluation of international studies.”
— Noruzova Gulchehra Bakrimovna, Ph.D., associate professor, head of the department of professional foreign language for international interaction. The topic of the report: "Formation of professional foreign-language communicative competence during the training of international specialists in conditions of increasing global competition”.
The plenary session was also attended by the academic staff, doctor, master and bachelor students of the university.
The participants of the conference covered such global issues as the foreign policy objectives of Kazakhstan and the adaptation of economic and political world practices in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The discussion was completed with the look-back at the historical and political issues of our country and the prognosis of possible constitutional reform in Kazakhstan.
The conference was closed out with the discussion of the presented reports and a brief Q&A session.
