International students with general secondary, technical, Further and higher education are eligible for applying to Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
Persons without citizenship who permanently reside in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakh natives who are not Kazakhstani citizens are eligible for state educational grants on an equal competitive basis with Kazakhstani residents.
Also, foreigners have a right for a tuition-free education in accordance with the government educational order defined by international agreements of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Foreigners are accepted to Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages in accordance with their application forms and Complex Test (CT) results.
To pass the Complex Test (CT) foreign students should apply the following documents to the Admissions Office in the period from June 20th to July 9th of this year:
- Six passport style photographs (size 3x4)
- Copy of the educational facility license
- 2 notarized copies of ID (pasport) translated in Kazakh or Russian languages
- Original of degree certificate or diploma and 2 copies of notarized and translated in Kazakh or Russian languages
- Certificate on completion of secondary education
- The medical certificate form 086-У (for non-resident applicants it is necessary to obtain the certificate at the city's student clinic, Bukhar Zhyrau boulevard 14, at the corner of Markov street)
All documents that need to be notarized should undergo this procedure in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Educational documents issued by foreign academic institutions shall undergo the procedure of nostrification required by the state (after admission of students, during the first semester of their studies), please see Nostrification Procedure.
The Complex Test is conducted in the period from July 18 to 20 on four subjects (Russian or Kazakh language, History of Kazakhstan, Maths and one elective subject). Total score for each subject is 25 points. Student is awarded 1 point for each correct answer. Minimum points required for enrolment to Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages is 50 points, of which minimum 7 points for the elective subject and no less than 4 points for other subjects.

- 2 notarized copies of ID (pasport) translated in Kazakh or Russian languages
- Copy of the educational facility license
- Certificate on completion of secondary education
