London, 8 November 2023: QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the global higher education analytics agency, has published the new edition of the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2024.
Representing a cumulative assessment of higher education institutions in the field of international recognition, development of scientific research, quality of the educational environment, internationalization and academic mobility, this year's Asian ranking became the largest in terms of the number of its participants: it includes 856 universities from 25 countries and territories, 148 from them - for the first time.
In the final ranking table, Peking University tops the list of the best universities in Asia for the second year in a row. The University of Hong Kong rises to second place, and the National University of Singapore rounds out the top three. India has the widest representation in the Asian ranking, which included 148 universities in the country, which is 30 more than in the previous edition of the ranking. Next come China and Japan, which are represented in the list of the best universities in Asia by 133 and 96 universities, respectively. Universities from Myanmar, Cambodia and Nepal are included in the new ranking for the first time in its history.
In general, in the rating cycle of 2024, in accordance with the results of the analysis of QS World University Rankings of JSC “Kazak Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages" occupies a position in the range of "1001-1200" places, namely 1157th place in the international ranking, which in turn indicates that the University is ahead of 33% of higher and postgraduate education organizations participating in the ranking.
Within the framework of the regional ranking QS World University Rankings: Asia 2024 JSC “Kazak Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages" successfully secured a position of 351-400 among universities in Asian countries.
Talking about the regional ranking, it is necessary to note the fact that JSC “Kazak Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages" took 19th place among universities in Central Asia in the QS Asia University Rankings 2024: Central Asia.
Thus, despite the significant increase in the number of universities participating in the international rating agency QS, JSC “Kazak Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages" with significant success retained its position in the 2024 rating cycle.
