Students of the 1st year of EP "6B02202-Turkology" actively participate in the international online project "Digital Citizenship of the Turkic World". Project implementation period: 2023-2024 academic year. The overall goal of this project is to improve the knowledge and cognitive skills of students of Turkic-speaking countries living in different geographical regions.
About 67 universities from nine countries participate in the project. The coordinator from KazUIR&WL named after Abylai Khan is Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Oriental Studies Eserkepova Zh.O.
Lecturers in this project are prominent academicians and professors of leading Turkish universities. During the educational process, intermediate control and examinations are carried out in accordance with the rules of Amasya University (Turkey) and Manas University (Kyrgyzstan). Students participating in this project are actively developing digital content related to the geography, culture, literature and science of the Turkic world. On December 23, 2023, within the framework of this project, a week of presentation of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. 1st year students of the educational program “6B02202-Turkology” Eren Aizere and Satybaldina Erkenaz under the guidance of Associate Professor Eserkepova Zh.O. defended reports in online format in Turkish on the topic “National dishes of the Kazakh people.” The course organizers highly appreciated the presentations of Kazakhstan students. At the end of the course, students who show good results will be awarded certificates.
