Yesterday, March 14, 2024, a festive evening dedicated to the great holiday of Nauryz was held, organized by teachers of the Department of Kazakh Philology of the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylay Khan Tungatova G.Zh., Khamimuldinova L.Zh., Yesenalieva Zh.Zh., Aitzhanova S. with 1st year students of the Russian department of the Faculty of International Relations.
The purpose of this event is to introduce the peculiarities of the national tradition, instill respect for the traditions of the Kazakh people, and teach students to appreciate and cherish the heritage of our ancestors.
The head of the Department of Kazakh Philology, Ph.D., Associate Professor Akkozhina Bayan Kanatovna made a congratulatory speech.
The hosts of the evening were Kabdikarim Aliya and Baimakhanov Meirzhan. Since the holiday also coincided with Korisu Day, which begins on March 14, the students congratulated each other, hugged, shook hands and expressed their wishes. During the evening, students played the dombra and sang songs.
In particular, Kuandyk Olzhas and Kambarova Nurai played the dombra kui. At the evening, a video about the Nauryz holiday, Kazakh national cuisine, national clothes was shown, and the content of national games was explained. Student Amrenov Arman spoke in detail about the Kazakh national game “Togyzkumalak”. During the evening, students recited the batа by heart. Each group of students brought national dishes and set the table. The students enjoyed the festive table. The evening was fun and interesting.
