30.05.2021 at 10:00, the 24th Competition of Oratory in Japanese among the countries of Central Asia was held online. The event was organized by the Association of Japanese Language Teachers in Uzbekistan with the support of the Japanese Embassy in Uzbekistan and the Japan Foundation. The competition was attended by 20 contestants from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
Kazakhstan was represented by students of Ablai khan KazUIR & WL, al-Farabi KazNU, L.N.Gumilyov ENU, as well as students of the Kazakh-Japanese Center for Human Resources Development.
3rd year student of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Ablai khan KazUIR & WL, Tleumurat Azamat with honor represented our country and took 1st place according to the results of the competition. 3rd place was also taken by a student from Kazakhstan, Musaeva Yasmina, representing the Kazakhstan-Japanese Center. The rest of the prizes were shared by the contestants from Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
We sincerely congratulate Azamat, as well as all students and teachers of the Japanese department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, with a great victory at the international competition! And we wish every success to our talented youth!
