By the decision of the Bid Evaluation Committee of KazUIR&WL students of our university have successfully passed the competitive selection for participation in the academic mobility program for the fall semester of 2018-2019 academic year and for studying at the foreign partner universities. On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish state, on October 31, a meeting was held with the Consul General of Turkey Riza Kagan Iilmaz at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On October 30, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a round table on the topic “China in my life” with the participation of a cultural scientist, public figure, sinologist Murat Mukhtaruly Auezov. The dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies-Daen Dinara Bakytkreeevna, undergraduates and students of the faculty took part in this event as well.

The Department of Management and International Communications met with a PR specialist, journalist and founder of the Insight Media communication agency Yuri Dorohov.
The meeting was held with students of the specialty "PR". The main theme of this event was the professional activity of the visitor and his extensive experience in the media field.

On October 29th, Aliya Kuantayeva’s workshop organized the Debates English League on the topic “The trend of celebrating Halloween in Kazakhstan” which in Russian means «Тенденция празднования Хэллоуина в Казахстане»). In our time, the majority of people don’t really understand it, and some don’t even know what it is and the purpose of some events also.

There has been a workshop “EngEdWorkshop” at our university on October 25^th that was held by FLEX Program Alumni students. Students had an amazing opportunity to challenge their English in practice, to open their boundaries and chances, and also to find new friends and to meet new people.

On October 16, 2018, there has been delivered the guest lecture of invited professor from Germany, doctor of political sciences Johann Rau, on «The Life philosophy on the example of European Union» at the faculty of international relations of the university. 

On October 18, 2018, there has been delivered the guest lecture of invited professor Kim Young Sool (South Korea) on «The Regional policy in the South-East Asia region» at the faculty of international relations of the university. 

16th of October Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages held the Discussion of the Message of the Republic of Kazakhstan President "Growth of the welfare of Kazakhstanian people: an increase in income and the quality of life" which involved the University's professors, mentors and students.

In the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, the Faculty of International Relations conducted a guest lecture with the participation of doctor of historical sciences, Assistant Professor Z.D.Shaimardanova, on the topic “Chinese Migration as a geopolitical and geo-economic fact”.
